CGI was pretty good, but it was more soap opera than action. The first half hour and the last ten minutes are the only part that remotely follow the book, and therefore are the only parts where "Journey" has anything to do with the plot line. The rest involves this love triangle between a married woman, her husband, and the main character. There is also this weird little tribe with sexy ladies which makes up the majority of the rest of the plot.
