Telling stories by way of interviews with their peers, pro skaters, industry moguls and the artists themselves, each volume will focus on a single human (one "Little Giant") and will be distributed to skateshops and boutiques. Each installment is 22 minutes long and is accompanied by a 20 page collectible booklet designed by the artist featured, and new volumes are released twice yearly. The series is being produced and directed by Bob Kronbauer who has a deep history in storytelling and the creative side of the skateboard industry. Bob cut his teeth at Girl Skateboards in the early 2000's working in the Art Dump designing skateboard graphics, heading up Crailtap.com and working on still photography for the Spike Jonze-directed films "Yeah Right!" and "Hot Chocolate". He has since been involved in many creative endeavors including Crownfarmer Clothing, a book of his photographs entitled "Beach Glass" published by Holy Water of London and, most recently, his online magazine, MumbleMagazine.com. This is Bob's first foray into film making. The subject of "Little Giants: Volume 1" is the one and only Don Pendleton. Don is a skateboarder and artist hailing from Ravenswood, WV. He currently lives and works outside of Dayton, Ohio doing skateboard graphics, painting and working on various art and publication projects. Somewhat of a recluse, he is constantly recovering from hypochondria and arachnophobia. He was the artist/designer at Alien Workshop for the greater part of a decade and has also worked with Element to produce skateboard graphics.
