"When I got this DVD it turn out to be much more than I expected.Gladys and the Pips were in rare form singing such songs as Every Beat Of My Heart,Friendship Train,On and ON,Grapevine,Midnight Train To Georgia.Gladys does a beautiful randition Evergreen and The Way We Were. And of course when Ray Charles came on stage.OH MY MY.Ray and Gladys did Neither One Of Us. This is a must for all R&B for the price. You could not beat it. Buy this one.You won't be sorry"

"I think people tend to forget that the days of Digital recording, 5.1 surround sound and HDTV are pretty recent. How can a 1980 performance look like a million dollar... We all know the limitations of older recordings and that's what you have to keep in mind before buying vintage concerts. Personally I am attracted by the emotion you can feel watching such amazing and unbelievable musicianship. There are only too few of these remarkable DVDs available today. Please keep'em coming, I am all for it, because high end technology can't make up for the awful music being released today. Keep the 5.1-Blue Ray-schmaltz and give us the real deal. (of course if you got the real deal in high quality I won't mind either! LOL)"
