I really wanted this to be good, it wasn't.

I have no problem with love stories or (alleged) monster movies. This is supposed to be both. It is a miserable failure.

Mexico is split across with an alien zone. Our hero is hired to bring a woman back to the US through the alien zone.

They get help from the locals along the way and all we see of the monster looks like some giant octopus tentacles. These appear too infrequently to be of much effect.

This was a struggle to get through. I am sure I pitched my copy.
