I had wanted to see this movie for a long time ,so I was thrilled to find it on sale recently for a good price. After watching it however,I was kind of disappointed. It wasn't anywhere near as entertaining as I thought it would be.I'm not sure why.It seemingly had all the elements for a great story but somehow, it didn't pull together well for me.
Maybe it was because "Cordelia" was such a despicable character.Maybe it was because the whole mistaken idenity plot has been done so many times before and better than here,
I guess this goes in the -should have worked, but didn't category-.I didn't really connect with any of the characters but liked Leighton's part the most. This movie does have beautiful scenery, pretty clothes and jewels to look at and its worth one viewing.
However, its not something I think I'll ever watch again which is why I am putting it up for swap.

Well...how to start. I also rented this movie, and at the beginning, I thought it was going to be fairly good. However, it ended up be extremely cheezy/corny. After they get "found out", and the girl Selena was posing as gets "freed" (they had her tied up with an apple in her mouth), there are no consequences!! Everything is perfectly fine (even after they took the muli-million dollar necklace, which they ended up giving back). CORNY!!! Also another part I did NOT like, was the whole stepsister thing. Okay, it was a good idea, but she meets this guy like the first day they are there, continues to see him everywhere they go, and after something like 2-3 days, they are madly in love, and she ends of traveling with him everywhere at the end of the movie. I guess it was a fairly cute movie, but it is one I will NOT be owning. By the way, this is a 16 year olds perspective.

This movie was OK I rented this to watch with my daughter who likes Selena Gomez she also thought the movie was not something super fantastic, The movie starts out with Selena working in a dinner and waiting for her graduation from High School so she can finally go on our dream trip to Paris, When she goes home her parents tell her they want her to take along her Step Sister who is depressed and not very happy or fun to be around. Selena begs her mom not to make her go with her Step Sister but her mom tells her she has no choice. She wanted to go with her best friend from the dinner instead. However in the end they all go, And the trip gets off to a bad start they loose their tour and end up being caught in the rain by themselves. They end up meeting this rich girl who looks just like Selena but isn't her, Selena ends up pretending to be the rich girl and it works for a while she gets to live it up in a luxury hotel with her friends the next thing she knows she is supposed to leave Paris and go to Monte Carlo when she gets their she falls in love and so does her step sister. So long story short they end up confessing they aren't the rich girl and go home. But they all remember there great Monte Carlo vacation they got for free.

I would recommend seeing it for your self it is an OK movie like I said I also think it is worth a credit to see this film but I don't think I would spend $19.00 to see it from the store.
