These DVD sets have some of the best episodes, along with hours of fascinating wildlife footage. Each segment is commercial free so the viewing experience is even better without interruption than when the series was broadcast on television. Marlin Perkins was a lively and entertaining host who makes the wildlife adventures so enjoyable. Other fine nature documentaries have been made throughout the years, but this was the first one in which the host is actively involved with the wildlife and its conservation. Many years have passed since this series was created, but it still invigorates the viewer with a love of the natural world."
