Completely outrageous concept and totally unrealistic but we are not here for realism, we are here to laugh. and it delievers. Black interacts with the children very well and finally found the perfect movie for his over the top persona and manic energy.

this is really a fun movie even with Jack Black. My grandaughter watched it at least 10 times. I even liked it a lot

I'm not generally a big Jack Black fan, but this movie is very, very cool! The kids are superb, very talented both musically (they really learned all those songs and played them themselves!) and as actors, and Jack Black isn't bad either. Joan Cusack is awesome, as always. Sooo talented. And the rest of the cast is great too. Sarah Silverman will really make you hate her character's guts. Excellent casting! And the score is the best!

The storyline is truly fun and everyone carries it off in awesome fashion. My husband and I have watched and rewatched this movie more times than we care to admit... :) We both recommend it highly!
