Movie Reviews

JA Steel's First Feature Film...a Great Start!
J. Bair | Los Angeles, CA, United States | 10/17/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I read in Curve Magazine that JA Steel made history with THE THIRD SOCIETY, as "One of the few female directors who has written a nude scene for herself." This gal did more than that, she wrote the script, funded the production, acted in the lead role, planned the stunts and fights, did her own stunts and fights, edited the feature and self produced the DVD.

It is quite apparent that she could do even better with a real budget and crew to back her. Overall, I thought it was a great start for a directing career and an independent film, especially with all of the obstacles JA Steel overcame to complete this movie. A lot of good imagery and scenes...glad I purchased my copy of this cult classic...and look forward to the remake with studio backing!

FYI...Sonja Eddy was an actor in the film...JA Steel was the director.
