"Soda Stereo is definitely a musical landmark in the history of rock and roll, no doubt about it. Before the release of this DVD it was sold as a comprehensive documentary that would cover the most important aspects of their career. Truth is, by watching it you can say that is nothing but a collection of home made style videos they recorded throughout their career. The documentary starts by giving you some background of the ambience in which the band was created, which I found very informative, but little by little it turns into a collection of home made style videos. You can see scenes of the band before some concerts in different countries of Latin America, or the arrival to the airports that definitely resemble the coming of the Beatles to America. Prepare yourself because mst of the documentary is like this.

There are some highlights though, seeing the band in New York city recording `Doble vida' is something to enjoy, or the creative process in the studio (the rehearsals seen here are something to enjoy) but there are also lots of things missing here (the famous MTV Unplugged it not even mentioned, for example). The decision of the band splitting up is mentioned briefly and the band shares only a couple of thoughts near the end that leave you wanting more.

As a collector's piece this DVD is a must not only for Soda Stereo fans but for music lovers in general, but be aware that the name of the documentary is `A part of the euphoria...', because that's what you will see.

"Hola a todos los fans de soda, efectivamente este material no es del agrado de nadie, como documental esta muy incompleto y mal hecho, no contiene una sola cancion completa y el material no tiene mucha secuencia. Los fans de Soda Stereo seguiremos esperando un concierto bien grabado o un documental bien hecho. Comprelo solo si quiere entregar su dinero.

"Como fan de Soda compré este DVD para tener por lo menos "algo" puesto que no hay nada más disponible, sin embargo queda un sabor a que nos vendieron un producto en el cual los Sodas parecieran no estar involucrados para nada.
¡Qué pérdida!"
