Even though these actors and their previous roles are, rather unfortunately, connected to the action genre this is a film that deserves more credit than it is receiving. Its a harrowing story of guts, the will to survive, and teamwork. The experiences of these men to walk across every conceivable piece of terrain and make it, walking from Siberia to India is in my (not so humble) opinion a great film for anyone with an interest in history. I had not heard of this trek until I placed on my wish list a few months ago, and was very pleasantly surprised by it. 4 1/2 out of five stars for its uniqueness and development of storyline.
