Movie Reviews

Great introduction to various wildlife
Ian E. Hall | New Zealand | 11/05/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

"The content of this DVD set is excellent. Great filming and naration especially 'Untamed Africa'.Its a pity the full 13 part series of 'Untamed Africa' is not available on DVD to my knowledge. The picture quality of some of the DVDs could be better, but it is still good and enjoyable."
Great value

"This 6 dvd set is at a very affordable price and contains 6 hours of wildlife footage. In the first two discs, we go from region to region and see what animals live there. The next two discs are in Africa and follow certain animals, especially lions and cheetahs. The fifth disc focuses on super predators and shows a lot of hunts and details about them. The sixth disc focuses on life on the sea. The collection covers so many animals and it's very well done. It's very relaxing to watch and the narration is very good. It shows how they survive, give birth, eat, hunt, live, etc. The picture is good overall, I think some of these shows were filmed in the 80's or early 90's, but still overall the picture is good. Also the animals are the center of attention, in other words there isn't some narrator appearing on screen (thank God). Overall, highly recommended! It's so many hours of footage, you can't go wrong with it."
