I enjoy classic DVDs especially comedies and films with snappy dialogue. Humphrey Bogart is probably my favorite actor but I like Bette Davis, Maggie Smith, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid, Myrna Loy, William Powell, etc. amongst many others, and I enjoy musicals such as those of Fred Astaire. I also like older detective and mystery films like The Thin Man series, Agatha Christie's detectives, the film versions of Raymond Chandler's stories, etc. I don't watch TV, haven't for over 30 yrs, so have no interest in DVD series of TV programs with the possible exception of Gardner McKay's Adventures in Paradise series. |
