"Wow, its been a year since I stumbled upon a web site known as SWAPADVD.com. I did some background checking ( looking up news and press releases about the site, all of them good ) so there I was about join, wondering would I ever get a DVD in return for the ones I was about to mail out . As a few of the first ones I had posted where wish listed on the site. Click, and with in a few months I was full on joining in with the games and discussions, sending and receiving DVD's My Total out at the time of writing 119, having received 92 ( one of them including a 54 disk set! ) woohoo. I have grown with this site, Friends ( tho be them cyber ), Enriched by the movies I might not have seen or known about.
So all in all, Two thumbs way WAY up for Swapadvd... and SwapaGoat too! ( inside joke, come inside to find out )
If you find yourself reading all of this wondering if you want to join, please do. The site only gets better every day.

"I first heard about swapadvd and paperbacks swap from a lady who works in a book store, that I frequently went to. She told me that these were great sites, and boy she wasn't kidding.
I have been a loyal member for years, and I can honestly say, that you will not find any better sites.
Swapadvd has help me find movies that I had been looking for, for a long time. And, if they don't have it now, just put it on your wish list, and they will let you know when they get it.
I have recommended both sites to anyone and everyone I know, and even people I don't know.

"I love both Swap A Dvd and the PaperBackSwap ... there is no better way to "get rid of" your old DVD's and Books then to exchange them with someone else who would appreciate them.
For years I just had piles and piles of books and DVD's that I didn't read or watch anymore and when I happened upon this place it was awesome.
I also post this site on my Facebook page every once in a while to let my friends know about this site.
It's such a rewarding experience to know someone else is getting to enjoy something you already got to enjoy.

"With three little grandbabies and another on the way, this site is a heaven-sent way to have the best DVDs as well as the best way to find out about DVDs we don't even know about! It makes me so happy when I find a DVD my babies will enjoy, and have it sent right to their homes. They love to get packages, and they remember everything that Gramma sends them.
Some special DVDs I have at my house for them to enjoy here. And the best part -- I can transfer my bookswap credits to get DVDs! I don't have any DVD's anyone wants so far, but I have plenty of books that I have sent out. I don't have to charge up my charge card or even leave the house to send out a surprise. This is the best GREEN (recycling) site I know about, and I tell everyone I know how terrific this is!

"I joined paperback swap several months ago and really never payed much attention to the DVD/CD tabs at the top. I noticed them one day and couldn't wait to get my DVD's I had watched; and didn't want to keep, posted. I hit the big 50 this year and have decided I could no longer put off my fitness routine. I had several dvd's for different workouts but had bored with them. I posted them on here, several were snatched up right away, and I got several new workouts. I love Pilates and Yoga as they are low impact,with great results. I have also found many movies on here that I had never seen but always wanted to as well as movies that I would like to keep for my collection. This is a great site. I have bragged about you to everyone when the subject of books or dvd's comes up in conversation. Thank you."

"I'm using Swap-a-DVD to collect the entire series of "Sex and the City" and I LOVE how much money I'm saving! For the price of one (used) season of SatC (before tax, at FYE), I was able to buy enough credits here to get season five and part one of season six! That's freaking AWESOME!
I was worried that I'd receive DVDs that didn't work, but every one I've gotten works great. The worst I've encountered is a broken case...but nothing a little packaging tape can't fix.

"I LOVE this site! Not only do many members get to swap their unwanted DVDs but it also saves a LOT of money for people like me - I can't always afford to go out and buy DVDs and some are even hard to find on certain websites. It is almost too perfect! It is a great way to clean out your DVD shelves practically for free!
