I am so glad there is a site like this, I use it all the time and I tell everyone about it. There was a movie released in England that I wanted to see, and it was never released here, I thought I was never going to see it, then wouldn't you know it was posted right here! It was a good movie and without this site I probably would still be longing to watch it.The paperback swap is very good too, and I use that equally as much!

I too decided to try Swap A DVD because of Paperback Swap! I'm the big reader in the household, and my husband is the movie nut. We decided to try this too, to help clear out our stash while we get ready to move. We've sent out eight, and requested one, but we'll burn those credits when we get set up in our new place.
This is fun! Who doesn't like getting mail?

If you don't have many DVDs to send out, you can transfer your credits from paperbackswap and swapacd. :)

This site is great for movie collectors like me!! I can trade in old movies that I don't watch or have extras of and get others for my shelves and when I run out of movies to trade buying trading points is still cheaper. I love it.

What a fantastic site. To me the beauty of this site is that it can simultaneously be used three different ways. Own movies that you no longer want? Swap them for new ones. Have a bare bones copy of a favorite movie and you want the fancy new 2-disc special edition? Swap them here. Just want to "rent" a movie you missed and heard good things about? Fine. Request it here and then repost it after you've watched it. It only costs you postage. But wait - you loved the movie and know you will want to watch it again? No problem - It's already yours. Keep it!

Did I mention it's also free, extremely well organized, the wishlist works great, and everyone is helpful? Nice job SwapaDVD team. Your site is ingenious. Thanks guys!

When I tried to post my first several DVDs I was disappointed because it didn't recognize a few of them. Finally I figured out the problem: I wasn't entering all of digits of the UPC number. Oopsie. But now that I know what I'm doing, it's smooth sailing!

I love that SwapaDVD is cheaper than renting and On Demand. And that there's no monthly fees like with Netflix. Not to mention if I really want to keep a DVD it's not a problem. What could be better than that?
