A trip down memory lane for those that remember 1980s wrestling. Benedict's character is mostly annoying due to over-emphasis on establishing him as a 'shyster' manager. Although called Body Slam, pro wrestling takes a back seat for much of the first hour of the movie. Instead, we get a weak story about a down-and-out music manager who is unlikeable by the end of the film. Roddy Piper is great in 'They Live', but he doesn't get to use his acting ability in this film. I suspect he was instructed to play a meathead buffoon, and that's what he delivers. Even the romantic substory is a yawner. Not recommended, except as a cult movie for wrestling fans who enjoy the antics of Lou Albano and Roddy-film completists.
