Great movie & great version of the book; please film the next book in the series (by Inger Ash Wolfe; check out the books over at PaperBackSwap), puhleeze!

What a disappointment! There were such great actors in this, I expected better; but what a terrible movie. If you want to see a really good, really funny movie about the auto sales business, watch USED CARS, starring Kurt Russell and Jack Warden. It's an older movie--came out in the 80s, I think--but so, so much better; you'll LYAO!

Better than expected: although most of the cast--with the exception of Flanery, McHattie, and Rod Taylor (star of the Alfred Hitchcock classic "The Birds")--are unknown, this movie has very good acting, direction, and special effects. Also be sure to watch the interview with Rod Taylor under "Special Features"; he has a lot of funny, interesting stuff to say about not only this movie, but his entire career (including "The Birds" and working for Hitchcock, of course).

I agree with Brian: this movie is great! Not only is this movie unjustly underappreciated, but so is Kurt Russell; he's one of the best actors around! (Can't wait for this one to come out in Blu-Ray.)

Great DVD! We were lucky enough to see him in person a while back; and what was great about this DVD is that it had mostly new stuff from what we saw live, so it was almost like seeing him live. He's a superb entertainer (and has a great back-up band too)!

AKA "Danny the Dog"; same movie. Very excellent film; Li's best role ever (and he's had a lot of good ones)!
