Ok, this is gonna come off as very anal, but this has been irritating me for nearly two years now. The "How to Wrap" instructions indicate that one should use a small piece of bubble wrap or scrunched-up tissue to keep a dvd to from coming loose in the case and rattling around in transit- presumably getting scratched up. A lot of people do precisely this-- to the letter. But NOBODY tapes it down! Every dvd I receive has the same ridiculous stamp-sized patch of bubblewrap sliding around inside the case, doing absolutely nothing other than keeping the dvd company. Is the idea that the bubblewrap will be held in place simply by the pressure of the closed lid? MAY I SUGGEST TAPE!? Just two little pieces of tape and a piece of bubblewrap which is actually big enough to cover the dvd will furnish the intended security. Or, we can agree that, if it's in good shape, 98% of the time the dvd will be held in place by the plastic knob alone. After all, no one else (Amazon, etc.) seems to take this extra step with the bubble wrap inside the case... Either way, I have a hard time checking the "yes" for "packing materials included?" when I recieve these dvds with the silly, wispy, tiny scraps of free floating tissue. Please, admin, consider altering the instructions. Thanks for tolerating my rant. Last Edited on: 11/8/11 3:11 AM ET - Total times edited: 3 |

I love the smell of Goo Gone! Like a walk through an orange grove! And it's not like the aroma sticks around. After the stuff evaporates, the smell is gone too. Miraculously potent stuff. It's highly economical too. I bought an 8oz bottle about seven years ago, and It's still 2/3rds full! And that's with using it fairly regularly! |

I've updated the offer to reflect club policy. I don't want to take any chances in case it turns out to be a bootleg!

Furmage nailed it. Slim case with fuzzy art work like from a swapmeet. Don't know how I ended up with it. |

I have a screener copy of "Precious" (2009 Oscar winner), and Day After Tomorrow offer rescinded as it appears to be against club policy. However, I still have Precious. Just order any two dvds from my tower and I will include Precious!. As always, first come, first served, so don't come late to the party! Last Edited on: 4/20/11 4:33 PM ET - Total times edited: 4 |

The deal is done. Thank you all for playing! |

I have one unpostable screener copy of "The King's Speech". I'll include it FREE for the first person to order two or more movies from my tower. "The King's Speech" does not come with a box, but in a cardboard "For Your Consideration" sleeve. |

The points system makes a hell of a lot of sense. If it was first come, first serve, then early members of Swapadvd would add hundreds, maybe thousands of movies to their wishlists, giving them first refusal on every desirable title to come into the system. Newer members would have to wait months or years before even receiving their first dvd from a wish list. Furthermore, the system would be hopelessly bogged down by the number of earlybird firsties who lacked credits to cover their auto-requests. I joined a year ago, and thanks to the points system, I've consistently received between one and three movies a month that I really wanted. Speaking of which, here are my #1s. Yes, that's right, 14 of them (and I have the credits to cover them all)!: Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (Unrated and Uncut) [Blu-ray] Last Edited on: 1/19/11 4:51 AM ET - Total times edited: 2 |

I'm sorry, I don't at all understand what you're offering... Is it some sort of bargain? Are you saying that you have multiple copies of everything in your tower? |

I think I'm the only one who has these posted: Lower Learning starring Rob Cordry Mr Accident starring Yahoo Serious |

The first responder to order anything from my tower gets "The Rocker: Born to Rock Edition" for free. I bought it at Blockbuster and it's in excellent condition. I only have one, so grab it while you can! |
