Still no app, but I have a "Barcode Scanner" app (on Android) that lets me set a Custom URL, so I set up:

where  %s  is the scanned data (the UPC) , that way I can at least check (at a garage sale, etc) if a DVD is requested (or available). I would assume there are similar options in scanner apps for other OS's

Also there is an app (I have not tested) calld "AskDroid Desktop Search Widget" whose description starts"One widget, 300 search engines. Need we say more?"  and Swapadvd is one of the multitude (but not the sister sites)

... but I read in another post (and have done nothing to verify) that they do plan SwapAVideoGame.com and own the domain (well I did check, but there is no site yet)  So I guess you should just wait and see

I have a DVD (2 Hitchcock films on 1 disc) with a UPC that is in the system, but as a completely different titile (some equally old flm)

Also I bought four 3-films-on-1-disc from Big Lots, and it turns out even though they are all different, they all have the same UPC (not the same as the Hitchcock), and there were at least 4 more "compilations" taht I didn't buy, that I would assume also have that UPC.

I will probably end up putting these in the Bazaar, but has anyone else had this issue?

The answer is "No, you can not post them to your tower" However you can go to the DVD Bazaar secton of the forums and post a message "I have the following VHS tapes and will do the following deal..."

I hadn't read that part of the help.  I guess the case is closed.

I'll let everyone do their own math about where to buy credits and where to transfer them ...

but maybe we should transfer all our credits to SwapaDVD now, and transfer them back after this change is made

Look in the KIOSK tab, one of the options is Transfer Credits

so ... you can buy a SADVD credit for 4.95   or you can by a PBS credit for 3.45 and transfer it to SADVD right? I've never bought any, but I did transfer some.

I posted a title with 2 disc (movie & bonuses) and it seems to count a 2 towards my 10

I don't know what the official policy is, but after all the site is swapaDVD not swapaMOVIE .... So the first question should be: is it a dvd in the case with the artwork (and instructions)?

What if someone said "I will swap this movie for a credit, but the system does not accept the specific UPC yet" Would that be ok?

I am not saying "yes games should be valid" I'm just saying think about it and have a discussion
