No, you must have the case and original artwork. Details on posting rules can be found in the Help Center.

You can, however, offer it in the DVD Bazaar forum.  [Communities->Forums->DVD Bazaar]

This is more effective if the DVD is wishlisted or has 0 copies available in the system.

If there are already copies available in the system, then it might best be used as a sweetener like "Free disk-only copy of X with any request off my shelf".

Why can't this be done for DVDs as well?

You can always post "disc only" DVDs in the Bazaar.  At SwapaCD you can only send CDs without cover art if the member agrees to it. It's really the same. It's also a two-way street.  I posted a long list of "Wish Listed" titles without cover art but no one asked for them.  Most DVD collectors want the cover art.  I'm more than willing to take one of my wish listed titles without art, if I give the same to get it.  But when I send out great condition DVDs with case and cover art, I expect to get the same in return.

So if you only want to send out discs without cases & covers (that have the right upc on it) post them in the Bazaar and hope you get a taker.

Having members only post and send out titles that play all the way through without problems and have a proper case with original cover (that has the matching UPC) helps keep trading fair and even.

I can't speak for others but I'm always open to trading "Disc Only" wish listed DVDs for other ones on my wish list.  So if you have some wish listed DVDs without cases & cover art, feel free to send your lists to me and I'll send you a list of the ones I can offer in exchange for them (if you have any that are on my very long wish list). Just bumped my available "Disc only" wishlisted DVDs list to the top of the DVD Bazaar. So if you really want to trade off your "wish listed" disc only DVDs, take a look.  If you want to trade your disc only's for credits to get ones with cover art and cases, that would not be a fair trade (to me) Thanks
