Platoon - Many Academy Awards and best picture and director Oscars. A classic great Oliver Stone war movie!

Midnight Cowboy - Winner of Best Picture Academy Award in 1969. A really strange and bizarre plotline but one thing for certain is that most people have no idea that these kinds of lifestyles exist and will continue to exist. A young Dustin Hoffman, a young Jon Voight (really see the family resemblance of Angelina Jolie with her father, Voight) and others really shine in this. I kind of figured out the ending but it was a good ending. The theme song Everybody's Talkin' by Harry Nilsson was more than fitting for this movie but you should check it out if you never hear the song since it's a timeless song that you will likely enjoy. A must watch!

Patton - A classic that some love!
