This has for most of my life been "The Vampire film to set the bar at an un-attainable height. And it has and will remain so. Lugosi was the best actor that could have been chosen for the part of Dracula. Two things need to be remembered when watching this film 1) it was made in the 30's and 2) sound on film was in its infancy along with the special effects industry. I gladly give this a four out of five stars.
