Cute movie. Didn't picture Adam Sandler being a push over in most of the movie. I wanted to slap Tea Leoni, and Paz Vega was charming :) I do not picture men watching this on their own. More of a "chic flick"

It's a little long, but a great story. I love Adam Sandler in a more serious role. But everyone does a great job as they work through their own personal issues and become closer as a family. The parts that are narrated are well written.

Adam Sandler in his sweetest role. Unless you're looking for Billy Madison 2 you will like him. Paz Vega lights up the screen next to him struggling with English, but speaking to us all. The ensemble cast behind them (including the hilarious Cloris Leachman) is very strong. This is a dramatic comedy with a ton of heart; and despite what seems to be the norm in movies lately, family wins this time.

"Good condition, got here fast, and the quality was great. I would definately buy from this retailer again."
Slow but I enjoyed it very much

"I always think of Adam Sandler as silly but he has surprised me. 50 First Dates was quite a surprise which I enjoyed sufficiently to purchase the DVD. I then received Spanglish on our Netflix account and again was surprised by the lack of silliness; in fact I thought it had great depth if a bit slow. I just purchased the DVD at Fry's Electronics to add to our collection of our favorite movies.

To me the best thing about this movie was how it held to good moral standards in the face of temptation. There were a few really good lines as well and I found the entire movie quite plausible. Even my 15 year old son thought it was good."
