"Live at Queens Park Rangers in England, 1975
The picture's as clear as crystal, however the sound is another story. The band can barely be heard above the stadiums echo a lot of the time. Even so, their stellar perfomance shown through like a beacon in the fog as the essence of the show and I went away happy.PT.1, 87 min. 1. Introduction~Sound Chaser

"This was sooooooo disappointing!! The sound crew succeeded in converting the first half (Vol. 1) of this excellent concert into one of the worst recordings of all time. I can't remember hearing a more incompetent professional sound mix. Ironic then that the band opened with Sound Chaser. The vision is excellent and Patrick Moraz on keyboards is inspirational. But the sound mix stinks ... I mean REALLY stinks. The bass and drums are very low, the lead vocal drops in and out, and in To Be Over, Jon Anderson's rhythm guitar painfully overpowers the whole band while Steve Howe's guitar is virtually inaudible. On Gates of Delirium the wonderful keyboard counterpoint to the slide guitar on Soon the Light is completely lost in the mix. The band must have been furious afterwards when they heard what the sound crew had come up with ... I would have been. Any other band, Vol. 1 wouldn't be worth selling at a car boot sale. But it's Yes and if you're a Yes fan it's worth getting. If you're not, skip this and just buy Vol. 2 of this two part set - the sound on that one is great!"

"People here are saying "If you're a Yes fan, you must have this!". Well, I'm completely the opposite. I AM a huge Yes fan, seen them all the way back to the Tales tours, and I was so frustrated at the sound quality of this disc I wanted to throw it against the wall. It is simply horrible. Sure, the video is cool. But what good is that? This isn't a silent Charlie Chaplin film we are buying here gang, it's a CONCERT DVD! Yes are musicians that play MUSIC folks! What good is it if you can't hear THE MUSIC!?! Buy the second volume of this show instead. It is light years better that Vol. 1."
