Member Movie Reviews Schuylar L. (schuym1) from SERGEANT BLF, IA Reviewed on 11/9/2019... I really wanted to like this movie because of how popular and groundbreaking this is supposed to be. I do like older anime and this one is from 1988, but I found it to be confusing and for the most part boring for the almost half of the movie that I watched. I read more details about the movie after I popped the DVD out of my laptop and it looks like the main details doesn't even kick in until more than an hour into the two hour movie. I do feel kind of like an uncultured anime fan for not liking this movie. 2 of 2 member(s) found this review helpful.
