A paranormal investigator (Christian Slater) and a museum researcher (Tara Reid) must save the world from an invasion by carnivorous inter-dimensional something-or-others in this video game based turkey from the infamous Uwe Boll. The story is a mess, the script is nonexistent, the effects suck, and for a supposed "action" movie, it moves at an absolute snails pace.
This flick wants to be an action extravaganza like "Resident Evil," but it turned out more like a ripoff of the first "Alien Vs Predator" flick... without any predators... But with a heaping helping of extra stupid.

Uwe Boll (House of the Dead) will be known for years as the most incompetent director of modern times. His films r hideous beyond belief and almost serve as textbook example of how not to make a movie. This movie is an incoherent mess.

Worst movie I've seen in a while--I traded it to Half Price Books shortly after watching it

Like a bad made for TV movie....

"Except this movie cost millions and has the most convoluted story(ies) I've every seen. In addition to the mystical lost Indian tribe and the super humans, we also get monsters that resemble a cross between Alien and a werewolf, worms that invade your body and turn into snake-like aliens, tunneling worms underground, zombies, Starship Trooper-like wars, evil scientists, underground lairs, gold mines, spooky warehouses, impalements, big mostly unused museums, government conspiracies, golden trunks pulled out of the sea, nuns, explosions, complex backstabbing plots, a very ambiguous romance, car chases, home invasions et al...."
