"I would like to point out that not all of the movies on here deal with suburbia, per se. Instead what you get is a series of movies that document the rise and fall of America's cities and how the fall of the cities transformed America from a city/agrarian culture into a culture of Suburbia, eventually leading to White Flight. The clips here are a sociologist's dream as they show the changes in the wants and needs of average Americans as cities were transformed from places where rich people lived into ghettos for the American Poor. It's a fascinating case study, though it can be sad from time to time."
