Movie Reviews

Great stuff but too short for the price.

"In The Big Dream is a very nice little 'add on' but at $19.99 cannot justify the price for just 37 minutes. I was fortunate to get the limited offer of this DVD along with 'the parent DVD' an Evening of Yes music plus, and I feel this is how it should be packaged, with both together. However, aside from the price there is a good mixture of content the highlight for me being an alternative version of 'I'm Alive' which is part of Quartet, a few added lyrics and a slightly different ending to the version that came out on CD on the ABWH album.
There is a version of 'Brother of Mine' which combines some live footage and some rather strange graphics of Yes members with Aborigine war paint.'Order of The Universe' again with live footage this is different footage to the one shown on Yes Music plus as it shows Tony Levin on bass (he was ill for the filming of Yes Music plus and so was replaced by Jeff Berlin.)There are a few short interviews with the band, about how they got together to play, and some high jinx from Rick!
Overall the material is good but does not justify being released on it's own 37 minutes is not long enough for the price, unless you are a dedicated Yes fan who doesn't have it already.
