Nothing Gothic... No Creek... Just Some Beaver...

(3 out of 5 stars)
"Nothing Gothic would have been a better name for this compilation instead of Babes in the Woods. The box cover leads you to expect some gothic dress, actions, attitude, though none of these movies even comes close. I can't say any try either, so simply deceptive advertising with DVD covers which is common these days. I did not like this as much as the Vamps and Witches movie set, though I did like it more than Hotter Than Hell and Vicious Vixens out of the ones I own. The picture quality on these movies is pretty sub par, if you need a clear picture without any fuzz than I'd avoid this.
Killer Eroticus (2.5 Stars): Julie Pepper (Yvette McClendon) pregnant at age 17 had her bf (Jack) shove a wire hanger between her legs till her baby was dead. There is a sick scene where Jack is walking out of the room and smears (9:20) the bloody coat hanger on the wall. The police don't do anything and Julie's own mother does not believe her story. One day while working at the pizza place Julie notices Bobby (Damien Matteo) selling a gun in the parking lot... Julie is left alone to close up the store with him, asks him about buying a gun of her own and he insists on knowing why. She tells him her story, he gets her a gun, she goes to confront Jack about the incident. Jack is very rude to her, calls her many names and even tells her he did them a favor. Julie hesitates in killing Jack, Bobby shows up to help, after the deed is done they have sex right there. Julie finds she gets a rush out of murder, otherwise she can't be in the mood for sex. She decides to start killing those who deserve it with Bobby, Sam (William Winter) one of Jack's friends is their next victim. The cops eventually realize they are having sex after murdering people and dub them a horny Bonnie & Clyde.
This has elements of Natural Born Killers meets Mystic Pizza gone bad. Bobby believes his dad was killed by his belief to not commit violent acts, when in reality I think Bobby shoots his own biological father. This would have been higher rated if the picture was better quality, some parts are harder to watch than others. This flick was written and directed by Vinnie Bilancio and David Rosenhaus, I think this film is also listed under the name A Woman's Scorn. The music was a mixed bag, some songs were pretty catchy and good while others were annoying at best. They credit it to Fallout Shadrach Scat and The Killers Eroticus Band. I thought Damien Matteo (Bobby) did pretty decent for his first movie. Other notable cast members are Vinnie Bilancio (Barney), Florence Regina (Nettie), and Kurt Sinclair (Detective Harris) who have all been in various movies along with TV spots.
Sexual Scenes: Julie=4 (Don't expect much/most are very short)
Babes in the Woods (1 Star): Brad Sykes wrote and directed this naked drama, seemingly intended to be a coming of age thriller. Instead it was akin to a 70's after school special gone bad, more a chick flick heh... The basic plot is 4 cheerleaders are on their way to compete at a competition when their van breaks down and they end up in the woods. The girls do not dress anything like cheerleaders I've ever seen. The shorts they wear are ugly and totally kill their limited sexuality. I would equate their outfits closer to what the softball or track team would wear. I ran track in HS and even the shorts I wore myself revealed more than their granny jams. There were two girls (Colleen & Melanie) in this movie that I didn't want to see have sex or naked. Unfortunately I got to see them in those situation several times haha. Most sex scenes take place outside and you can even see bugs landing on people during some. Notable Cast: Hollie Hummel (Jasmine) has been in a few episodes (The Interview/The Fix Up) of What I Like About You and Red Shoe Diaries (Billy Bar/Cowboy,Cowboy) among other things. Angela Ford (Sondra) was Angel in Mad Jack, Dixie Bubbles who has been on the covers/inside mags like Score, Gent, Fiesta and D-Cup.
Sexual Scenes: Colleen (Laura Calder)=3, Jasmine=3, Sondra=2, Melanie (Sarah Greenwood)=2
Babes II: Lost in Beaver Creek (2 Stars): Muffweiser Light... Softcore with hardcore elements, so don't expect to see Gumby's pals Pinky, Prickle or Goo. At least Pokey is well represented and some blockheads... Picture is a bit grainy in general but the audio is decent. A Michael Paul Girard Film, Beverly Lynne (Amy/Bianca), Crystal Waters (Christine aka Dru Berrymore), Samantha Sterling (Diana), I've read that Crystal Waters in this movie is really Dru Berrymore. If Crystal is Dru Berrymore, she knows about full throttle and is the real Triple X. Anyways Dru gets whipped a few times during sex and whips a guy once (1:08:12) for any that care. Samantha Sterling (Diana) has been in a slew of adult hardcore films in her own right. Basically Amy is missing and Bianca hires Christine a sexual psychic to find her younger sister.
Sexual Scenes: Diana (Runs Cybersex Site in movie)=3 (1 during credits), Amy=3, Christine=4 (Gets whipped during 2), Bianca=3
Bel Air Bitch Project (1 Star): This movie would have only worked if it was a fetish or hardcore porn. Sadly it was neither, though a few times there was a tease of some fetish action. Trisha Berdot (Clair) looks much better in Witchcraft XII than she does in this flick. She plays a rich model living in Bel Air who is all tease no Please, she seduces men, has her way, then dismisses them, usually without letting them obtain release. You get the typical shower scene, pizzaboy, poolboy, and her stimulating herself watching porno videos. There is a part involving her eating a bannana that some people might find enjoyable. Since she is such a tease there is a long list of suspects in her murder. The only other cast member worth a mention would be Joe Haggerty who has been in movies like Creepies, Zombie Chronicles, Witchcraft XII, Bloody Tease and Demon's Kiss. I think it would have been more realistic to claim Trisha was a rich heiress instead of a model since she isn't that hot hehe.
Sexual Scenes: Clair (Berdot)=7, Video=1 (Action happens on porno she watches)
Pros & CONS: Babes in the Woods don't deliver, while their is a fair amount of nudity, none of the girls are ultra hot, and some you don't even want to see naked hehe. The compilation has some moments but overall it isn't something that is a must own. Killer Eroticus could have been better if not for the poor picture quality especially noticeable in certain spots. I did like the B movie over the top feel while still keeping a fair degree of realism. I just wish it had a better pace, longer sex scenes and more killing. I was worried when I saw the opening credits introduce the victims among some others. I never saw any Creek in Babes II, just some Beaver hehe. My DVD case already has a broken clip, I noticed that problem with all these Brentwood/BCI Eclipse movie sets. While the sound wasn't great, all the films gave a 5.1 stereo option.
Blazed Bits: I have to admit Killer Eroticus really puts me in the mood for Pizza. A Woman's Scorn and to a lesser degree Beaver Creek save this set from being a disaster. I'm glad Sykes improved since his Babes in the Woods days, though it would be hard to get worse heh. I had a friend that used to insult old pornos from the 70's and how the girls were nothing special. I thought back to his comments when I saw the girls in that movie heh. These days they have some really hot girls in even the most hardcore flicks, unfortunately many are fake plastic surgery frankensteins. I was a bit pist when none of these movies had any gothicness to them as the cover artwork would imply. The girls are never in those outfits, I'm not even sure they are in these movies, realize this before purchasing.
Only buy this with low expectations ready to deal with deception and imperfection."
