Movie Reviews

Hmmm.... my baby can't read!
D. McIver | Frisco, TX | 01/22/2008
(2 out of 5 stars)

"My wife and I are pretty sharp folks -- and the kiddo we bought this DVD for is now 3 years old. I'm sure every parent thinks their child is very smart, but believe me when I say our's is scary smart.

That being said, he didn't respond well to the video and certainly didn't show any signs of word recognition. We also weren't going to freak out if he didn't -- but thought it would be cool to see.

Baby sign language - yes (didn't slow down his verbal skills at all!)
Baby Einstein videos - yes -- he still likes to watch them

Baby can read! - not so much

I'd recommend getting a copy from a friend or the library before buying this one.... maybe it's right for you, maybe not."
