Two young people meet on a train. They have different destinations, but have an immediate connection. Making a snap decision, they disembark the train in Vienna. He has to catch a train to his final destination in the early morning and she is going back to school in Paris, so they only have the night in Vienna to be together. To get to know each other and to see the beautiful city of Vienna by night. Director, Richard Linklater has given us a beautiful study of emotions and feelings of youth. Fortunately, there are sequels. Although each is a great stand-alone film, if you love this one, go on to "Before Sunset", and then on to "Before Midnight".
