I get bored with following the dots, I want to jump in and play with my friends. This is a very pleasant DVD, the down home feel is as good as it gets. The problem is it just kept me where I was reading the dots and not playing. I did match it up with another beginning book that has several of the same songs played in a different position and that gave me a better feel for the fret board (that has no frets).
I say buy it but don't make it you end all. It is worth the money and you will learn." |
