"I got this video along with Campfire Homecoming on the 4th day after order was placed. The packaging was exceptional. Two of the best Gaither videos in recent years. I will buy from Nickalucks again!"

"This is one of the Gaithers best Video's yet outside of the ones with the Goodmans and Jake and some of the other one's that are gone on. Bill Gaither goes out of the way just to make sure that not only does the music sound good but he also makes sure that all the artists are having a real good time. Wish I could sit in with them and sing one with the gang. Keep up the Good Work Bill and Gloria"

"A departure from the usual Homecoming concerts, this is a celebration of family, Homecoming Picnic 2008. The picnic at the historic Fiddler's Grove in Lebanon, Tennessee is all in the name of a family event. You will hear how many speak just how much this concert/picnic setting means to them, seeing friends who are like family.

Many new singers are here along with a few of the old timers, like Russ Taff, Lynda Randle, Larry Ford, and Dottie Rambo "Mama Teaching Angels to Sing". Dottie must have died shortly after in May 2008. The Speer Family join in for a tribute to Brock Speer who died in 1999. Ben Speer sings "I Was There When it Happened."

Some performances that stood out for me were the Gaither Vocal Band singing a very beautiful song, "I Heard it First on the Radio". I figured it was Gaither-written because I remember Bill talking about his experience listening to the gospel on the radio Turn Your Radio On; and I like "He Pilots My Ship" with Buddy Mullins and "Farther Along" with Michael English.

You will enjoy the rousing "Sweetest Song I Know" lead by Mike Allen, Russ Taff, Ben Speer, Becky Isaacs, Johnny Minick, Michael English and Jessy Dixon. I especially enjoy "This Great Caravan Keeps on Rolling Along" and "I'm Living in Canaan Now."

Other performances include: Gordon Mote "Sweet Forgiveness"; TaRanda Green sings "Sky Full of Angels"; and two favorites, and Larry Ford leads for "Palms of Victory"; The Booth Brothers sing "Without the Lord"; The Easters sing "Eastern Gate"; Jim Hill sings "What a Day That Will Be"; and Tanya Sykes "Look for Me"; and several join in for "I'm a Soldier"

Harmonica player Buddy Greene plays "Gentle Shepherd/I Will Serve Thee and along with the Isaacs for "Sally Goodin/Wildwood Flower." Newcomers The Hayes Family sing "Did You Ever Go Sailin".

This is a fun Homecoming Series, casual without an audience and you get to meet some family members. This is fun! Inside pamphlet has lyrics.... Rizzo
