Known Primarily for the wide landscape shots and rolling vistas, this movie broke new ground in a number of ways. In a love story of latency.

Great movie that won an Academy award several years ago with an excellent cast. I enjoyed it very much. Beautiful landscape in many scenes. I believe this movie launched the careers of several cast members. Adult content.

This is one of my favorite films. It is absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't possibly describe it and do it justice. There are only good things to say about it in my opinion. The cinematography is beautiful, the message is a much needed and deeply profound one, the locations are gorgeous, and the performances are just phenomenal. Heath Ledger was robbed of an Oscar, in my opinion, and I truly urge people to watch this film. A fantastic cast, wonderfully directed, with beautifully composed music. You will not be disappointed.
Oh, and for those of you who are homophobic or nervous about it to any degree, the scenes that people are generally afraid they might see are non-existent. There is a short sexual scene, but nothing is shown. So please don't be deterred by the jokes and rumors that people throw around or you will miss out on a fantastic, romantic, and beautiful story and film.

The movie itself is set in some gorgeous scenery and I know this movie is to support the gays, but I would not even like to see that much "action" in a heterosexual movie.

Good story but if your not into gay love don't watch it. Yet, the story is more about love in general and the fears of not being able to be open about it.

Beautifully filmed love story and excellent acting, especially by the late Heath Ledger. Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway are outstanding in supporting roles. And Jake G. is charming yet sad. I had to watch this alone because the males in my household were not comfortable with this material, but it was not (in my opinion) a film that is overtly sexual in any way. It was about love and pain. Excellent story.

A movie that will stay with me for the rest of my life

"I know the title sounds very drastic or dramatic, but thats just how i feel. This movie simply puts the energy of love, in all her glory on display, for the world to witness, and lessons are taught as she is betrayed.I think one of the reasons why this movie is so profound to millions of people, is because straights can witness that gay love is just like theirs. Love is the common bond between all of us here on this green earth, and Brokeback Mountain illustrates that beautifully."
