Movie Reviews

Great Message; One of Rob's Best.
E-Train | NJ, USA | 10/16/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Rob Bell in the Nooma video series has a unique way of being informative, yet concise. It also is intriguing, yet it is not done merely for entertainment value.

He gets across a message that needs to be heard in "Bullhorn." As he refers to "Bullhorn Guy" throughout the video, speaks in particular of the need for Christians to learn to be loving; not condemning, to show love for others because that's what God calls people to do, not because there's some hidden agenda; and for people to understand that when speaking to others about God, it should be done out of concern for the person we are talking to, not to "convert" them, make them become like us, or make ourselvs feel good because we convinced them to believe what we do. In this, he also reminds us that we don't have to stand in a public forum with the tracts and bullhorn to be "Bullhorn Guy" because this person is more interested in himself than God or others.

This video is good for individuals or for group settings. This series is particularly aimed at High School Youth or Young adults, but unlike some others in the series, it could easily be used for teaching with other age groups, as well. If you lead senior high youth, college students, or post-college young adults, this is a great way to get your group think, talk, and learn about spiritual things."
