Cute, clean comedy starring Christopher Lloyd and a young Jonathan Jackson. Genie Francis makes a cameo appearance. Kids create their own summer camp so they don't have to attend the boring camps chosen by their parents. Lots of fun and mayhem along with a little romance. Very refreshing compared to recent foul language comedies.

This was a good, fun, family movie. My parents and I really enjoyed it. It wsan't "over the top" the way they make "family" movies today.

A must see movie for that 'summer camp feeling'...

"A lot of people judge Camp Nowhere before they have actually seen it, just because you know you can not get away with the things those kids do in real life. But please, watch the movie first and then judge it, because otherwise you'll miss out on a really funny movie. Morris 'Mud' Himmel and his friends all have to go to a camp they hate. So, with the help of a grownup (who's not exactly normal!) they create their own summer camp. But then the other kids at school find out about it and want to go too. But hey, the more the marrier. It all works out perfectly, for a while. Because what if the parents want a parents day? Camp Nowhere is a really funny movie with some real good quotes by the characters. My fave is: for that just flushed look. The actors all do really well in this movie but I think actor Jonathan Jackson was the best. As Mud he's funny, sweet and he can make those hilarious faces (like when the cup-cake falls right in his hands...) If you want to see a movie that is funny, not so predictable (maybe the end), and filled with very good performances from both the grownups and the kids, I defennitly recommend this one."
Very hilarious!

"This movie is great. It is very hilarious and well worth your time. It is almost a five-star movie in my opinion, but I can't give it more than four because some of the scenes are just plain corny and/or ridiculous. And yes, as one reviewer mentioned, the parents are represented wrongly, in that they never suspected anything, which does not seem real.
On the other hand, that same reviewer mentioned that he did not finish watching this movie because of cursing. I seriously do not know what he is talking about. I only remember very occaisional and rather mild swearing.
All in all, this is a great movie that is definitely worth watching more than once. I definitely recommend at least renting it, if not buying it."
Camp Nowhere --- Way cool

"I recently rented Camp Nowhere. Best movie I have seen in my life. It is SO funny. It is all about this group of four teens {two girls, two boys} whos parents are making them go to summer camps in which they do not want to go. They find Dennis Van Wilker {Christopher Lloyd} and they scam thir parents into this camp. Along with many other kids, all summer this "camp" which is really just a big party, goes great. In August, all the parents want a Parents Day, so they pull of "the GREATEST scam of all time" At the end, the truth is revealed, nothing bad happens. The whole movie, Mudd and Gabby have a little crush going on and wont admit it to each other but at the end Mudd and Gabby have a nice wet kiss."
