Pete and Ray are brothers who are involved in a long standing feud which started when Ray married Pete's ex-girlfriend. Pete was already upset over his wife leaving and saw this as a double betrayal. Pete's son, Michael, was also hurt at his mother's exit and got into trouble with the police. Christmas provisions have to be delivered to Alaska which means Pete and Ray have to work together. On the way they have to stop to pick up Ray's estranged Wife who is pregnant. On the journey they have to learn to forgive each other because only by working together can they survive the journey. Tom Wopat and John Schneider are excellent as feuding brothers who love each other really. Kim Delaney is perfect as the alienated and pregnant wife. Zachary Ansley is great as the rebellious teenage son. Hoyt Axton is fantastic as their late father's business partner. If you like warm and fuzzy moments then you will love this film. A great film for all the family.

WONDERFULLY TOUCHING FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON

"Yup! fueding brothers - I don't think they even understand why.
Willow Creek - a little town in Alaska that is losing its Christmas spirit.

A teenage boy feeling rejected by his father [Tom Wopat] and not knowing how to express himself.
Then we have Pete's ex-girlfriend and Ray's estranged wife - talk about a mix-up. Complete with flash-backs to bring us up-to-date.

Their father's partner asks the men to drive a semitruck load of christmas gifts north to Alaska - to put their fueding aside for this run.
Of course, Ray [John Schneider] takes a little side trip to Reno much to his nephews glee. Yup! trouble again.

Of prime importance is the lose of "Christmas Spirit" both in the town of Willow Creek and by the brothers.

The slide of the semi into a snow bank was sure worth it.

How it comes back into their lives is the wonderful point of the story, an amazingly touching.

Definitely Recommended +++++"

"This movie reminds us of the reasons for the Holiday season. It brings back the family and should be watched by adults and children of all ages. It is a current movie that updates "It is a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart. I can't begin my Holiday season without watching this movie. My children look forward to watching this movie every year and they are now teenagers. I highly recomend this movie."
