Patrick Swayze has three kids, not two like suggested by the DVD Synopsis, and has taken them to the mall to do his Christmas shopping. The three children seperate, the oldest off to find girls and fun, the younger two to visit Santa. The younger two find a bag of money belonging to a pair of sibling bumbling thieves and their dominatrix-like "leader".

I was bored with this horribly predictable stinker of a movie and had to shut it off. I wondered why Patrick Swayze, a fantastic, sexy, amazing actor, would take such a terrible role but knowing how generous and kind he is as a person, I can only guess that he took it as a charitable kindness to the director or something.

"Christmas in Wonderland" is not a movie I would recommend as it's definitely not a "Wonder" to watch. Boo. :oP

Excellent movie

"Wayne Saunders (Patrick Swayze) is forced to leave L.A. to move to Edmonton CA. The kids get lost in the mall the youngest wants to see Santa. After visiting Santa a wish comes true they find a bag full of money. The only problem is, its counterfeit cash and the problems start, after they go on a spending spree. Its a must see movie, my family got an enjoyment out watching the movie.
We just can't figure out why it's so hard to purchase this time of season. Unless it was because it was filmed in Ca. The 2 boys Matthew Knight and Cameron Bright who played in the movie are from Canada and did a really good job of acting. What really made the movie was Amy and Zoe Schlagel playing the part of Mary Saunders, and believing in Santa and the miracles that happen. I would put this movie in the classics category Miracle on 34th Street."

"Christmas in Wonderland was written with a lot of love and heart. The writer was able to capture the true feeling of a struggling father who loved his family deeply and wanted to make life the best for his kids. In doing so, the youngest knew she wanted to help her Dad, so when the miracle appeared, she new in her heart that everything was going to be OK. This is a great holiday movie and should be released on DVD now. I know I plan on watching it during the next holiday if not sooner. I don't know why it took so long to be released for viewing, even if it was on TV. Maybe Canada has a say so on what happens since this was filmed in the South Edmonton Mall. I just hope it gets released soon. Loved the movie. Love the Writer. She's the best. I look forward to more of her screen plays being made into movies."
What is the DVD release date?

"Watched Christmas In Wonderland on TV. This is a great family movie. I've pre-ordered it here on Amazon, but they aren't saying when it will be released on DVD. I can't find any information on other websites for a release date. Does anyone know when it will be released?"
