"I had high hopes for this dvd as it had so many great bands on it,and they all got to play 4-5 songs. Seeing as how there were nine bands on there that sounds like a great deal. Until you realize that EVERY one( no matter which group) has been recorded with a grainy 8mm and everything is out of focus or random things are being recorded, speaker stacks/body torso/the floor. Or you get the exact opposite side and the camera man (AKA young friend of the band) is super zoomed in on the neck or t-shirt of some one screaming and you cant tell whats happening.
On the up side the sound itself is all pretty good and its still nice to have a dvd with the Blood Brothers, the Locust,Swing Kids,Jenny Piccolo and 5 others on it. It is fill with youthful energy and that makes all the difference in the world. But the filming of this goes well beyond "punk" and into "incompetent".
I wish I had better things to say about this one,but you should know what you`re getting yourself into before you buy it."
