These are really great old game shows...on the First Disc...almost all the game shows worked except one, "Do You Trust Your Wife?" with Edgar Bergman and his puppets. I haven't checked the other 3 discs, yet. I did, however, get in contact with the Project Manager at MillsCreek who make these discs. He sent me a replacement for Disc #1 and it did the same thing...it's messing up on that same game...Pausing,Playing,Pausing,Going Forward,Pausing,Playing, etc. I'll have to call him again, and see what's up.
Other than that, the game shows look and sound great.

Good news and bad news
Mark Lagasse | New York, N.Y. | 03/13/2009
(2 out of 5 stars)

"The good news is that this set has a lot of wonderful material, and for the price it seems like a terrific deal. The bad news is that the price is low for a reason: The actual DVDs don't work well at all. Technologically, it's a nightmare, in fact. You can't access certain shows on the menu; some stop in the middle, skip, or pause indefinitely. Often you can't even access the menus, and the discs make odd whirring sounds in the DVD player. More good news: Amazon was quite prompt and nice about returning my first set and sending another set. More bad news: The same problems occur on the replacement. At this point I really don't want to go through another iteration of returning and replacing, and then being disappointed again. I will say that the shows I was able to watch were terrific. It's sad that quality companies don't want to release quality classic game-show DVDs."
Defective

"The title describes it all,,,i am on my second set and it will be returned as the first, this company seems to have a problem at the manufacturing plant, the holes for the dvd are cut off center, leaving the dvd to either not play, or cause your player to shake like a washing machine with an unbalanced load of clothes, this set is pure garbage, and Mill Creek Entertainment , if still in business, better get their act together or they will shortly be OUT of business, i know i would NEVER purchase anything from them again!"
Fun collection

"Since many of the shows featured in this collection I have only heard about but not seen it was great to finally get a taste of the likes of Twenty-One, Ding Dong School and Super Circus. I would love to see more."
