Solid Tyler Perry plotline showing the bad things that can happen to women of color. What I don't like about Perry movies is that it is mostly one race with the exclusion of others in his movies. Perry seems to have lost his spark since he is starting to fade away...

Wow. What a beautiful, heart-wrenching movie. This movie has a lot of very serious subject matter, definitely not a "feel-good" movie, but I thought it was amazing. The only problem I had with this movie was (*SLIGHT SPOILER*) when Glina(apt. manager) was trying to get help for ... the children being abused, why didnt she use her keys to get in? I was thinking, well maybe she doesnt have any, but then when Tangy got locked out of her apartment, she got the keys and let her in. I know its a movie, but thats just the one thing that bothered me. Otherwise, a great movie, not for the faint of heart. Will most likely make you cry, or atleast feel like crying.

An another AMAZING movie by Tyler Perry. This is a must see, but please be advised you will need tissues. This goes right up there with The Color Purple and Beloved for me..All great thought provoking movies. I know it will become a keeper for me.
