"Pre-ordered just on name alone. Have been waiting forever to see Phoebe live and this actually helps. Although an old, old performance (and from German TV to boot), it is one of the best preserved and best sounding performances I've seen. Phoebe's voice is flawless throughout the set and amazingly powerful. She seems to possess a voice like the old-time barrelhouse singers - no microphone needed to raise her voice above others. This is a highly recommended live recording that was best suited for release on DVD. Now my only wish is too still see Phoebe in concert."

"Phoebe Snow has long been one of the most under-appreciated artists of the rock era. What is a shame is artists like Janet Jackson and Britney Spears sell millions of recordings and have a tenth of Phoebe's vocal ability. This lady delivers the goods during this ten song live concert in which she mixes rock, blues, jazz and soul to perfection. Her signature song "Poetry Man" is an acoustic gem that shows off that incredible voice and soon after her band shifts into high gear with great takes on the rockin "Cardiac Arrest" and "Let The Good Times Roll". Her interaction with the audience shows the viewer she truly appreciates her fans who have been always dedicated to her music. The picture quality and sound is flawless making the viewer feel as though they are in the front row. Phoebe may not sell millions of records anymore but her voice is a national rock n roll treasure for sure. Buy this DVD and enjoy one of the most overlooked female vocalists of our generation."

"This was a fairly good DVD of a short concert by Phoebe Snow. Back in 1977 I was just out of college and living with a roommate in another college town in Tennessee. We got free tickets to a Phoebe Snow concert. I only remembered that she had sung "Poetry Man" in the past and I liked it, so why not go for free? It was one of the best concerts I ever went to, especially because since the warm-up band didn't play after they got there, Ms. Snow apologized for them and did their warm-up plus an extended concert. She was at her best then. I saw her once more here in Florida about 2 years later and again she was great. This DVD is a studio produced concert in Germany from 1989 and definitely not the Phoebe Snow of times past. She had been through a lot in those 10 years and was still hanging in there which I give her a lot of credit for. A good addition to a fan's library, but not a very good look at a great singer in her prime."
