Set in post-apocalyptic 2030, the first half is a murder mystery that takes its time setting up. Watch closely for the footwear of the murderer, and it will pay off as the costuming is consistent and will reveal the killer long before the movie does. If you are watching this film for the Mecha, you'll need to wait until the very end. Fairly slow moving but some decent writing and attention to story detail. Some strong influences from the Thing and Terminator, but for being low-budget and in the infancy of the information age, the film did pretty well considering. As long as the thickness of the 1980s stylings don't put you off, this is a passable sci-fi B movie.
