Movie Reviews

Fairly entertaining thriller with a stunning leading lady

"Interested in what Amber Smith could deliver in a film having been a most known as a top model for such notable magazines as Maxim, Playboy and the Sports Illustrated swimwear issues, I just couldn't resist renting Crime Scene.
Obviously, I was sceptical and prepared to fast-forward to the erotic scenes.
However, I was pleasantly surprised Amber not only seemed to take her job as an actress seriously but she made the leading man look like a rank amateur!
This is obviously a lower budget film but it looks like they tried to do the best they could and who knew the "stand-out" would be the one person whom they probably booked just for her looks.
The story line itself is nothing special. Amber is cast as a disgruntled police officer who is tortured by a serial killer that she thought she had killed. And the chase is on With her long wavy hair and model figure she is the least likely Cop. However, I just read an interview with her in which she mentioned the film's producers switched her role from the aggresive sex therapist to the leading role of a police officer during the first day of shooting. Regarding the erotic scenes that I had rented this film for to begin with; they delivered! All women have amazing bodies but Amber's "rear-end" is sublime. A fairly decent lower budget thriller best for chilling while hungover. Amber may be one of the few models that will soon show serious acting chops similar to Jessica Lange or Kim Basinger."
This movie needs some work on the plot.

"This movie I found just kept going on and on. Also, I think they should re-cast their actors/actresses. Once I almost found my self falling asleep, this movie is not for children. But its not for adults either because this movie is TERRIBLE! Though, if you really like crime you might want to watch this movie"
More Amber Please!

"Low budget movie made for the rental market.Script made for Amber (limited). Some nudity is present, but not enough for late night cable. Amber shows improvement in her acting. But that's ok since she is still hot. Good for a boring night on television."
