Had some funny moments but also some crude ones not really needed to be a good comedy.

I got this movie because of the French Bulldog (Sonny). He is so cute. Great actors in this movie also made this a funny movie. I enjoyed the cross country scenery from Atlanta, GA to LAX, CA. Love the Grand Canyon view. It's a great story about friendship with a a total stranger and working out personal issues.

This is not quite the nonstop laughs as The Hangover, but it is really funny.
The main actors have some really great chemistry, and the idea is pretty cleaver, though pretty much a ripoff of Planes Trains and Automobiles ... they did a good job of execution of the idea.
There are some lines in this movie that are probably the funniest in film making history. One of from the begining I was still laughing at during the end credits. The delivery of jokes is perfect.
Cenametography was well done, though nothing really innovative.
Overall - this is a good movie, and well worth a watch, but it probably isn't worth buying the movie, I would red box it before you decide to add it to your permanint collection.

Took me 2 tries to get through this one and didn't laugh once. I was really disappointed since I really like Robert Downey Jr., and I thought Zach would make it really funny.

While the chemistry between Downey Jr. and Galifianakis was excellent, the film sorely lacked genuine laughs. There were multiple times I caught myself smiling, however; Due Date had a nice charm fore-fronted by its talented and charismatic leads. What it boils down is what you seek in a comedy film: laughter, fun atmosphere, a feel-good story, likable characters, etc. Though Todd Phillips managed to create those aforementioned characters and a wacky, yet terribly unrealistic adventure, my comedic radar seeks out laughs and fun factor above all else with replay value to a lesser extent, which culminates a below average rating for this film. It wasn't inadequate, but it was disappointing.
