Movie ReviewsGuilty Pleasure Retro_Saiyan | Australia | 04/10/2008 (4 out of 5 stars) "Ok, This show is silly, But I kinda like it! I really enjoy the fact that it's a sitcom set in the old west, and the writing is just as good as "Gilligan's Island", even if the cast don't have the same special chemistry of "Gilligan's Island". Considering it's a low budget syndicated sitcom from the mid-70's, I think it's pretty good. It isn't "Quality TV", But it's a tasteful "stupid" comedy. The only problems are the cheap sets (Remember, This ran in first-run syndication), and the cheap laugh-track (A common problem with light comedies). Picture quality is good, with the episodes taken from well-preserved 16mm film prints, which looks better than Video Taped shows like "Welcome Back Kotter". I can see why some hate this show, But for me, It's a fun!"
