What a great flick. All of the actors really turn it up a notch here with some performances that won awards and well deserved ... Such great chemistry onscreen.
The writing is really well done, and the direction keeps the movie together and moving. I really like the style of narration, Emma has a nice clear voice and great inflection - she should do audio books. One of the most impressive things about this movie is that none of the actors outdoes anyone else, everyone does such a great job.
It is an old premise, but there is enough new on it that it doesn't get old, and you never really know what is coming next.
Check it out, at least at Red Box ... you will be entertained.

I was totally on board to see this movie for Emma Stone alone and she delivered 100%. The film teaches an important lesson to young girls about how lies can get out of hand and ruin people's reputations. Also great performances by Amanda Bynes, Stanley Tucci,Thomas Haden Church, Cam Gigandet, and Lisa Kudrow to name a few. It was terrific because it was a very real movie addressing real high school issues, bad reputations, student teacher affairs, best friends fighting over boys, and suppressed homosexuality.
