Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church shooting occurred on June 17, 2015. The beginning dragged a bit and there were some themes that could have been tossed. Once this got going, it was really good especially when some of the families showed up with great strength silencing others just trying to cause trouble. Not a keeper or something you probably would want to rewatch but you will find peace in some of this with people that will inspire you to be the better person and take the higher road making the world a better place. A must watch, use 120X FF as needed.

June 17, 2015, nine innocent African-Americans were massacred at the historic Emanuel AME church in Charleston, South Carolina by a white 21-year-old gunman. This documentary interviews the families of the victims, as well as gives context regarding the community and its history. Rather than focus on the hatred and bigotry of the gunman, we get to know the loving and kind church members who were the victims of this senseless crime through the testimony of their loved ones.
