Eurotrip is a movie I lent to a friend and never got back. I ordered it a second time. It is worth it. I enjoy the humor in this movie, knowing full well not to take it seriously or nitpick about inaccuracy.
Sure, Scotty is just friends with Mike, then when he finds out Mike is female Mieke, he is suddenly in love. I do not care that this is a bit blurry about how close they could have gotten being foreign language pen pals while Scotty is still having trouble determining Mieke is female. The music, the travel, the surprise humor and nudity, and the creepy Italian guy who actually runs the Summer At Sea program, all of it made this movie worth watching two or three times a year. Any time my husband and I see Vinnie Jones (who was the Juggernaut in X-men The Last Stand and The Midnight Meat Train *yes, actual name), we both call him 'the soccer hooligan'. He's quite memorable in his role, as are Matt Damon, Jeffrey Tambor, Lucy Lawless, Diedrich Bader (from Drew Carey), and several others if you keep a keen eye.

One of those movies you only watch once. Dull humor.

"Down-Right Hilarious"

""Eurotrip" is one of the funnier teen comedies that found its way into theatres in the early 2000's. The plot deals with a young guy who takes his pals with him to Europe to track down a girl he has met on the internet. On the way to Europe and while there the guys encounter some hilarious moments which leads to very funny film.
This movie became a hit upon its release and grossed over $17,000,000 at the boxoffice and has gone on to be one of the biggest teen films ever. Hunk Matt Damon does a cameo in the film as a singer performing "Scotty Doesn't Know" in reference to the main character not realizing that his "new" girl is cheating on him.
DVD bonuses include extended and unrated versions of the movie, commentary, unrated deleted scenes, and more."

"This is easy to sum up in only a few words. It is completely hilarious. Raunchy humor at it's best. If you are a right wing nutjob who pretends to be a christian every Sunday, this is not your movie. This is along the lines of Beerfest and American Pie as far as humor. We watch it often just to get a chuckle.

They still need a blu-ray version."
