This movie was great - acting, interesting story, and intense scenes. Much research was done and that makes the story more complex. This movie is about the priest performing an exorcism and what happened as a result. The setting is in the courtroom with flash backs to what happened. When I was thirteen, I would walk to the video store right after it got dark and I would rent a few scary movies. Then, I would go into my bedroom, turn off the lights and watch them by myself. For the most part, my imagination can conjure up scarier things than anyone has put in movie or book. I must admit though that The Exorcism of Emily Rosefreaked the crap out of me! I know that part of that is because it is a true story. I know that demons can possess a person and to me that is the scariest thing that could ever happen to someone. If you watch this movie, I hope you are prepared to be terrified."
