Awesome movie with a superb storyline. Although I was not familiar with any of the actors, it was a well-done movie and very entertaining. Parts were funny and parts were heartwarming.

Good for the whole family movie about a man who was from Scotland but became a farmer in Africa with his wife and small children. He became a Christian, eventually holding a meeting in a football stadium to pray for peace and for rain for it had not rained in a very long time. His faith was sincere and strong and The Lord worked through him to do miracles including raising an African lady from the dead after she had been struck by lightning. You and your family must see this movie!

Incredible story... made even better because it's stuff that really happened. Be sure and watch the interview with the "real" guy in the special features.

This is a very good movie for adults, I wouldn't recommend it for children because there are a few bad words, near the beginning.

Sadly, for me, this movie did not live up to the hype.
It came highly recommended, with rave reviews, but turned out to be just decent.
Nothing more. The best i can say about this film is that it isn't terrible.
*Maybe i just can't get past the typical "prosperity gospel" undertones of this story (and others like it). It goes like this - a person's life is crummy, they're unhappy, maybe poor or sick etc., then someone tells them about God & all of a sudden the problem goes away....Salvation is not about happiness, or an easier more prosperous life, but rather it's an issue of Righteousness. A person can be rich, healthy, even happy in their sin, die and go to Hell. Conversely one could be sick, have unfulfilled dreams, and even poor by the cultural standards, and made righteous with God thru Christ.

A very moving and powerful witness!

"I just saw the movie a week ago. It was so moving that it caused me to reflect on my relationship with Jesus. The Bonus materials were equally as good as the movie. I've been a big follower of the Sherwood Baptist Church movies: Flywheel, Facing the Giants, and Fireproof (which are without question anointed by the Holy Spirit), and this one has moved right up to the top with them! I continue to pray that all of these movies increase in support and that we see other inspiring Christian movies take root! I just praise God for using such folks at Sherwood and the ones behind this movie. All of these movies are life-changing because they are based on the Word of God! A true must see, along with the other 3 movies I've mentioned!"
Great movie

"For those of us who long to see lives of faith portrayed with the grittiness and courage that this life entails and demands, here is the movie we've been waiting for. I found the story immensely moving - all the more so for it being true - and the acting, especially that of Frank Rautenbach, particularly good. Worth the money for sure."
Loved it!

"I loved this story! I'm from South Africa and it was very true to form. I loved the miracles that God did throughout the movie - and knowing it's based on a true story makes it even more awesome. I will say they use a little Afrikaans every now and then, which may make it hard for the non-Afrikaans speaking people to pick up everything they're saying, but my husband watched it and said it didn't detract at all. I would highly recommed this movie for anyone wanting to watch God's power in doubtful circumstances."
Beware! Please read before watching.

"If you are a mother or sensitive person, please beware of the very tragic and graffic accident that involves a beautiful young boy.It is left me sick to my stomach. Though a true and moving movie, the power of the story seems lost to me in the graffic memory of this loss of life. Again, it is a great movie with real life miracles that will build your faith, but beware!"
