This movie is supremely funny and especially for those of us in the dual camps of Star Wars/Trek. SO many references to catch and so little time! Each character is so funny and thorougly likeable, you get to know them as you watch. I particularly enjoyed the scene in Kirk's hometown and the similar scene in Vegas. Enjoyable for ANY fan of the Wars/Trek! :)

This movie is hilarious! Granted, you need to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy it. I'm not a die-hard fangirl by any means, but this is a great movie!

Movie Reviews

Hilarious Movie. Great Story.

"Admitting my bias, I am a big Star Wars fan and had been anxiously waiting the movie release since seeing a preview at ComicCon. The movie did not disappoint and had the family (boys at least) laughing harder than anything else I can remember. Some of the jokes are mature and maybe too vulgar for some. The number of inside references and "for fans only" jokes makes it fun. The guest appearances by Star Wars legends also adds to the experience. The best part is the humor is in support of a story beyond a throw away comedy with a compelling conclusion."

"After reading Chris's review, I realize this film was made for me, not him. If you're a thirty-something who grew up in the Star Wars era, and if you have a laid-back but wicked sense of humor, you'll enjoy this film.

Like a cross between Super Troopers and a Kevin Smith movie, you'll recognize cameos, cringe a little at the awkward positions the characters end up in, and probably have friends very similar to one or more characters in this move.

It's not for people who take their fandom too seriously, or for people who are too "above it all" for fandom *cough*cough*. But it was for me, and I had fun watching it!"

"This movie was hilarious. I was only able to see it 4 times in the theater as it wasnt around long. I just hope it doesn't take so long to get the dvd! One of my favorite scenes was when the boys needed to be rescued by their fanfriend. The sound effects were from the real thing."
